| A little about us Thanks for stopping by Huskies Unlimited's new webpage. We breed, stud, and sell AKC registered Siberian Huskies. My name is Dave Ellinger and I am in a partnership with Anthony Lucchesse and we're both Siberian husky breeders. We're from Long Island, NY and together we have over 25 years of breeding experience. All of our dogs come with their shots, papers, and are dewormed. |

| The Siberian Husky The Siberian Husky is an elegant, graceful, strong, and reliable worker. They are a very sociable and friendly breed. They normally range from 20-24 inches at the shoulder, and about 35-60 pounds. This dog is not intended to be a guard dog, but will make a great addition to the family. They are very fun animals to watch, and because of their temperment and curiosity, they have to be watched closely just like children. Their instincts are to treat everything as their friend, whether it being a human or an animal (even an unfamiliar one) this is why they do not make good guard dogs, but rather a lifetime companion. Use caution when the Husky is around small animals, such as rodents and rabbits, it may play too rough or possibly even see it as lunch! The Siberian Husky is a graceful runner and needs plenty of room to run and exercise. It is not recommended to take this dog off it's leash because of this instinct. This breed is very often spoiled by it's owners, just take one look into those beautiful blue eyes and you'll understand why. |
About the picture This is the first AKC pure bred husky that I had, her AKC name is Princess Nala Ellinger. |
